Alanna joined Turkel Forman LLP in January 2019, and is excited to be engaged in a wide variety of transactional work. She is a passionate advocate who is committed to making sure that clients receive the best care and advice possible.
Prior to joining the firm, Alanna was a Pro Bono Scholar at the American Civil Liberties Union, where she contributed to federal litigation addressing issues of discrimination in employment and housing. She has also done legal work in Bogotá, Colombia, honing her communication and analytical ability through the experience of tackling complex legal problems in a second language.
Alanna earned her Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law, where she was a recipient of the Graduate Fellowship, a full merit scholarship. She was on Law Review, and is a published author of her own law review article. Throughout school, Alanna also served as a research assistant to a contract law professor.
Originally from New York, Alanna has also lived in Montreal, where she attended McGill University. When she is not practicing law, Alanna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies, and traveling whenever possible.
