Paul Carlotto

Paul is a passionate advocate who takes great pride in his ability to think creatively in advising clients.  His primary concern is making sure that his clients receive the best care and advice possible.  Paul loves his work and loves being an attorney.

His substantive residential and commercial real estate work has included extensive due diligence and analysis regarding all types of New York real estate, negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, conducting purchase and sales transactions from start to finish, drafting joint ownership/joint venture agreements, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases.  Whether you are a first-time home buyer, a business looking to lease a new office, or an investor in a real estate project, Paul will be able to advise, guide, and support you through the transaction.

Paul also has experience in drafting estate planning documents and the administration of estates.  From simple wills to complex trust agreements, he can help you smooth the transition of your assets through estate planning that is right for you.  Paul also works with the firm’s clients throughout   the estate administration process, including complicated and difficult estates involving estranged families, lost or unknown heirs, and other complications that can make the probate or administrative process very difficult.

In addition to his other practice areas, Paul also drafts and negotiates prenuptial and post nuptial agreements.

As a legal professional, Paul volunteers for the New York Legal Assistance Group, specifically their Mobile Legal Help Center project.  This project travels around the five boroughs and the greater New York City area, helping residents of underserved communities connect with pro-bono or reduced-cost legal services.  Prior to being a legal professional, Paul has a history of social justice activism, from raising money for environmental initiatives to working with communities to establish self-sustaining economies.
